Flow is a simple yet addictive puzzle game based around connecting colored dots together with pipes.
To play Flow, you just need to hold and drag a line between two same-colored dots to join them with a pipe. However, you're not allowed to overlap lines, which is where the challenge comes in.
There are two game modes to choose from in Flow. The free play mode contains a series of levels (900 in total), where you need to join all of the dots to move to the next level.
The second game mode in Flow, time trial, challenges you to complete as many levels as you can within a given time limit. You can choose the time limit yourself, and also select the board size to increase the difficulty.
On the subject of difficulty, we found Flow to be way too easy in free play mode, and even the hardest levels on the larger game boards aren't too taxing.
We liked the minimalist design of the Flow game, and were pleased to see the inclusion of a dot labeling option for the color impaired. It would be nice if a little more excitement was injected into the presentation, in the form of a soundtrack, though.
Flow is an addictive and stylish puzzle game, although it's a bit too easy.
